Colourful Florist Website Design

This one was a passion project – and honestly, one of my favourites. Dathanna na Bláthanna is a fictional luxury wedding florist based in Galway, and I created everything from scratch: the branding, the web design, and all the copy.

The brief I set myself was to create something as bold, vibrant, and full of life as the flowers themselves. No safe, minimal aesthetic here. This brand is about colour, personality, and the kind of floral arrangements that make people stop scrolling.

What the brand needed to feel like

Dathanna na Bláthanna (which loosely translates to ‘colours of the flowers’ in Irish) is all about joyful, breathtaking, bespoke floristry. The perfect florist for couples who want their wedding to feel like a floral wonderland, not just nicely decorated.

The brand needed to feel luxurious but not stiff. Vibrant but not chaotic. Creative and joyful, with a real sense that the person behind it genuinely loves what they do. It needed to attract couples and event planners who want something extraordinary – the dreamers and the detail-lovers.

WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS

Passion projects like this one are where I get to push the creative side of what I do and show what’s possible when you go all-in on personality.
