Top Questions

Web Design for Creatives & Wedding Professionals

How do you build your websites?

I build websites using WordPress and Shopify, depending on your business needs. Unlike the more rigid options like Squarespace or Wix, WordPress allows me to really dig into the design and functionality so it fits your exact needs and style, while Shopify is a fantastic choice if you’re looking to create a user-friendly e-commerce site. I’ll guide you in choosing the best platform based on your goals and vision.

Do you offer ongoing support once the website is built?

Absolutely! Once your site is live, I’m here to help. I’ll walk you through how to manage it with full personalised handover videos and documentation so you can refer to it in future. Plus, you’ll get tech support for the first 7 days after launch to tackle any questions. After that, you can decide if you want to handle everything yourself or let me manage ongoing updates and maintenance.

Will you write my website content and find images for me?

While I can help, the content and images are best coming from you. Your website should reflect your voice and branding, and no one knows that better than you!

If you need help with copy or photos, I can point you in the right direction with copywriters and photographers or recommend stock photography websites. If you want me to source stock imagery I can do this for you for an additional fee.

How involved will I be in the process?

This is a collaborative effort! I want your site to feel like you, so I’ll need your input throughout the process. We’ll start with a detailed questionnaire, then either chat on a call or handle everything through email and mood-boarding to nail down your vision. You’ll get regular updates as I work on the site, and you’ll have opportunities to give feedback and request revisions before we launch.

How long will it take?

Once we’ve agreed on the project details and I get all the content from you, we’re typically looking at 3 to 6 weeks to get your site up and running. If you’ve got a specific timeline in mind, we can always discuss the best approach to make it happen!

Where are you located?

I’m primarily based in Roscommon, Ireland, but I travel frequently, so I might be in different parts of the world when we connect. The great thing is that since everything’s online, I can work with clients from anywhere! No matter where you are, we can easily make it work.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes, I do! I’ve worked with clients across many time zones, and I can handle all the logistics, no matter where you’re based. Distance is no problem!

How much do you charge?

I know it’s frustrating, and I wish I could give you an exact number here, but each project is unique. For a rough idea, check out my services page for starting prices. Once I understand your needs, I’ll send over a custom quote. If budget is on your mind, we can explore different options to find the right fit for you.

I have a very limited budget, will you still work with me?

The best way to find out if we’re a good fit is to be honest about your budget from the start. Once I know what you’re working with, I can offer guidance on the most realistic options for your project.

That said, I’m not able to take on a 5 page custom website for €1,000 or landing pages for €500 — those prices simply don’t reflect the time, care, and expertise that go into creating high-quality, strategic websites. However, I’m always happy to suggest alternatives, or point you in the right direction if custom design isn’t feasible right now.

I do offer payment plans to help spread out the cost — just keep in mind that the final balance must be paid before the website goes live.

If you’re an Irish business, it’s definitely worth checking with your Local Enterprise Office to see if you qualify for any grants for web design or digital marketing.

How does payment work?

Once you’re happy with the proposal and ready to move forward, I’ll send over an invoice with payment details. A 50% booking deposit is required to secure your spot in my calendar and get started, with the remaining 50% due before the website goes live.

I use WISE for payments, which lets me invoice you in your local currency — ideal for international clients.

Is my initial deposit refundable?

No, all booking deposits are non-refundable.

Your deposit secures your spot in the queue, ensuring that I can dedicate the necessary time and attention to your project. I book projects several months in advance, and this scheduling allows me to provide each client with the focus they deserve.

What if i want more revisions than what we have agreed?

My goal is always for you to feel confident and excited about your final website. If you’d like additional revisions beyond what we originally agreed on, we can absolutely talk about it.

Additional revisions may come with an extra fee depending on how much time and work is involved. Keep in mind that bigger changes — especially ones made later in the project — might also affect your launch date.

Can you redesign my existing website instead of starting from scratch?

Absolutely! If your current site has a solid foundation but just needs a visual refresh or improved functionality, a redesign might be the perfect fit. I’ll review your existing setup and let you know what’s worth keeping — and what’s better rebuilt.

Do you offer SEO with your website builds?

I’ve decided to offer a full SEO setup as an optional add-on rather than including it in every build. This approach helps keep costs lower for businesses just starting out, giving them the flexibility to add SEO later as their business grows.
That said, every website is built with best practices in mind, including proper heading structure, optimised images and full mobile responsiveness to ensure a strong foundation from the start.

What’s not included in the website package?

Hosting, domain names, email setup, and premium plugins or themes are not included unless specified in your proposal. I’m happy to guide you through purchasing these, and I’ll let you know exactly what’s needed to get your site up and running smoothly.

Can you work with my branding, or do I need a brand first?

I can absolutely work with your existing branding! If you already have a logo, colour palette, and fonts, I’ll use them to design a cohesive website that aligns with your brand identity. If you don’t have a brand yet, I can recommend a trusted brand designer or I can create a simple brand suite as an add-on — just let me know what you need.

Why should I outsource my web design instead of doing it myself?

There can be a certain appeal to doing it yourself, but designing a website can be a time consuming and costly project if it isn’t in your area of expertise. The time you might spend learning design tools, building your website and troubleshooting errors could wind up costing you more in lost business revenue than the cost of someone doing it for you. A website is one of the most important tools for your business, but if building that website distracts you from running and growing your business you should seriously consider outsourcing your web design.

Where do I start?

Easy — just fill in the contact form, and I’ll be in touch within 24 hours. From there, I’ll send over a quick questionnaire to get a better understanding of your brand, goals, and what you’re looking for in a website. Once I receive your completed form, we can either hop on a call or continue the conversation via email — whatever suits you best. Then I’ll send you a custom proposal with all the details. Once you’ve accepted it and paid the 50% deposit, we’re ready to roll!

For Agencies & Business Partners

Do you offer white-label web design services for agencies?

Yes, I do! I’m happy to work with agencies and design studios on white-label projects. This means I’ll build the website to your specifications, and you can present it to your clients as your own work. It’s a great way to expand your service offerings without taking on the overhead of an in-house team.
We can discuss the specifics of how we’ll work together, including timelines, revision rounds, and pricing. Just reach out, and we’ll chat through how to make it work for both of us.

What's your process for white-label projects?
  • All communication goes through you – I don’t contact your client directly
  • You handle all client interactions, feedback, and approvals
  • I work from briefs you provide and don’t request client meetings or calls and adapt to your style and processes
  • Project files, hosting, and domain are set up under your details or your client’s
  • You present the final website as your own work
  • Any post-launch support can be handled by you or funnelled through you
Can you work on retainer or recurring project basis?

Absolutely! A retainer arrangement is perfect for agencies with ongoing web design needs. We can structure it as:

  • A monthly retainer for a set number of hours/projects
  • Dedicated time allocation for your projects
  • Priority scheduling so your deadlines are always met
  • Discounted rates compared to project-by-project pricing

Retainer arrangements work great because they give us both predictability and flexibility. You know you have design capacity available, and I can plan my workload accordingly.

Do you work with agencies on a partnership basis?

Yes! I’m open to ongoing partnership arrangements with agencies. Whether you need occasional projects or a retainer relationship for regular work, we can explore what works best. Let’s chat about your needs and see how we can build something mutually beneficial.

Can you work with tight deadlines or rush projects?

I’m always willing to discuss rush projects, but it depends on my current workload. If I have availability, I can often accommodate tighter timelines — it might mean adjusting scope slightly or prioritising certain features, but we can make it work.
Just be upfront about your deadline from the start so I can give you a realistic assessment of what’s possible.

How do you handle confidentiality and NDAs?

I take confidentiality seriously. For white-label and agency partnerships, I’m happy to sign an NDA if you require it. Here’s my standard approach:

  • I don’t discuss client details or share information about projects
  • I don’t use client work in my portfolio without explicit permission
  • I don’t reach out to clients or use their details for marketing
  • Any project files are kept secure and confidential

Your client data and project details are safe with me. If you need a formal NDA in place, just send it over and we can get it signed.

Still with me? ✨

That’s a great sign!

Let’s turn this curiosity into action, fill out the contact form, and let’s build something amazing together.
