The brief:

Design Studio Website

The objective of this project is to create a portfolio website for a design studio.

The primary goals are to effectively showcase the design studio’s services, enable an easy way of getting in touch and portraying eye-catching graphics and visuals to showcase previous work.

About:

Design For Musicians is a small music loving design studio tailored to working in the music industry.

Based between Ireland and the UK and working with music artists worldwide, designs are created by musicians, for musicians!

As graphic designers themselves, Design For Musicians had a very clear vision of what they wanted their website to look like and how they wanted their information to be portrayed.

This Design Studio Website was designed with a target audience of musicians, who want to elevate their image with custom logos, album art merch and more.

What I did

New website build - On WordPress.org (moving away from WebFlow to provide enhanced customisation options and flexibility and reducing overall costs).
Free theme installation with full customisation.
Seamless Brand Integration - Incorporated Design For Musicians existing branding elements, including the logo, colour scheme, and fonts, throughout the website, maintaining consistency and reinforcing their unique brand identity.
Call-to-action (CTA) integration - The website was equipped with strategically placed CTAs, guiding users through the site and encouraging them to take desired actions, such as contacting Ellie or exploring specific services.
Showcase of portfolio - Careful attention was given to showcasing Design For Musicians portfolio, highlighting their work with stunning graphics. Through strategic placement of high-quality imagery, visitors can gain a glimpse into the artist's skilful work.
Image Optimisation - Optimised images for web usage to ensure fast loading times and an optimal user experience.
Mobile-Friendly Design - Implemented a responsive design approach to ensure that the website functions flawlessly and looks visually appealing on all devices, including mobile phones and tablets.
Email Marketing Subscription Box - Configured and embedded an email marketing subscription box, enabling visitors to easily subscribe to Design For Musician's mailing list and stay updated on her latest offerings and style tips.
Booking Calendar Integration - Incorporated links to Calendly booking calendar to enable visitors to book a Discovery Call with Design For Musicians seemlessly.
Search Engine Optimisation - Essential SEO features were implemented to enhance the website's visibility and search engine rankings, enabling better discoverability on platforms like Google.

The resulting website for Design For Musicians provides comprehensive information about the services they offer and shows off a detailed portfolio of work with stunning high quality graphics.
