What began as a one-page website selling a single product quickly evolved into a comprehensive e-commerce platform with over 35 products serving the entire GCC region.
TOM Period Wear specialises in period underwear, swimwear, and activewear, offering comfortable, reliable products with perfect fit, exceptional absorbency, and leak-proof protection. As an authorised retailer of brands like AWWA and WUKA, Elaine needed a website that could handle serious growth while serving the diverse, multicultural community in the UAE.

- Robust E-commerce Foundation – Built the entire platform on WordPress.org with reliable Siteground hosting, ensuring it could handle growth and traffic spikes without breaking.
- Strategic User Journey Mapping – Mapped out exactly how customers would move through the site, from discovery to purchase. Created intuitive navigation and smart product categorization so people could find what they needed quickly.
- Advanced Shop Configuration – Set up a shop page that could showcase the full product range while allowing customers to filter by size, color, absorbency, and style. No overwhelming choices, just smart organization.
- Smart Pricing Features – Implemented bulk discount systems and first-time customer coupon codes to encourage larger orders and build brand loyalty from the start.
- Lead Generation Setup – Added newsletter subscription options throughout the site to capture email addresses and build a customer base for future marketing with Klaviyo.
- Mobile-First Design – Made sure everything worked perfectly on phones and tablets, since that's how most people in the region prefer to shop online.
- Cultural Considerations – Designed with sensitivity to the local market while maintaining a modern, international feel that appeals to the diverse UAE community.
- Brand Evolution Support – When TOM went through a rebranding, we refined the design to match their new direction while keeping all the functionality that was working.
