Website Design for a Lifestyle Medicine Doctor
The Project
Dr. Aisling Farrell is a GP and lifestyle medicine physician who works with busy athletes – helping them perform better, recover smarter, and stay healthier for the long term. She has her own background in endurance sports and bodybuilding, which means she actually gets what athletes go through. That’s a huge part of what makes her approach different.
When Aisling came to me, she needed a website that could do a few things at once: explain what lifestyle medicine actually is (it’s still quite new, especially in the athletic world), show potential clients why her approach matters, and make it easy for them to book without feeling overwhelmed.

The challenge
Educating and converting at the same time isn’t always easy. If you lean too hard into the clinical side, you lose people. If you skip the detail, they don’t understand why they need you. We needed to find the right balance – clear, credible, and warm.
What I did
Initial Strategic one-page design – Clean, focused, and easy to follow. The page guides visitors through Aisling’s story, her services, and how to work with her, without throwing too much information at them all at once.
An integrated booking system – Athletes can book a free discovery call or jump straight to a paid consultation, all without any back-and-forth emails. Quick and easy to use on any device.
Course platform setup – Built an online course platform for her Star Performance Program participants, so they can access all their materials in one secure place.
Automated email workflows – When someone signs up or books in, the relevant details go out automatically. Aisling doesn’t have to send anything manually, which means less admin and a more professional experience for the client.
Trust-building throughout – Real client results and Aisling’s own athletic background are woven through the site so visitors can see she genuinely understands what they’re going through.
Mobile optimised – Athletes are busy. They’re checking things between training sessions, often on their phones. Everything works perfectly on mobile.
A secure client portal – Healthcare involves sensitive information, so I set up a private area where clients can upload documents securely. Exactly what you’d expect from a medical professional.
Lead Nurturing System – Integrated newsletter signup and email marketing to stay connected with people who aren’t ready to book yet but want to learn more.
The Result
The site positions Aisling exactly as what she is: a leader in athlete-focused lifestyle medicine who combines clinical expertise with real-world athletic experience. Multiple ways to engage, a clear path to booking, and a site that feels professional without being cold.
