The brief:
A bridal hairdresser website that communicates that both studio and mobile hairdressing is offered in southwest England.
About:
Kylie Rose is an award-winning mobile and studio hairdresser based in Devon.
Kylie came to me for a little refresh of her current website as she felt that it did not show off that she did both mobile and studio hairdressing, did not have any personality and she wanted to incorporate her awards. Kylie’s budget was low for this project so we were unable to achieve all that she wanted to do in this session, however, we’ve made the website in a way that we can add to it in future as her business expands.
What I did:
Website refresh – keeping the same theme, page builder and WordPress set up.
New fonts for headers, body and buttons – made them consistent across the whole website
Updated colour scheme throughout website to match logo
New button shape – friendlier and easier to see.
More CTAs added throughout website so user can find their way around the site easily
New copy throughout the website – representing Kylie’s business better and showing off what she has to offer leaving no guess work
New pages showing salon services and pricing information
Added some booking links. leading to her Fresha booking page so people can book online
Added some shop links so people can buy products from her online
Added in new imagery to break up some text and show off work better
Added a blog page with some new blog posts to help with SEO
Incorporated awards and reviews which were missing from the previous website

Absolutely amazing service from Nikita! I knew what I wanted from my site but I had very minimal design ideas to give her. My new site is absolutely perfect! She knew what I wanted even though I didn’t and is so easy to talk to and sorts out all the bits I don’t understand!
